The Iona Group (http://www.ionagroup.com) is seeking a motivated junior level developer to add to its team as a paid intern. The ideal candidate should be a junior year student in Multimedia or CS disciplines. The Iona Group is a creative communications company. We provide exceptional service to develop great solutions for our clients.

Qualifications:

Selected candidate must possess the following:

* 1+ years minimum Website Development Experience / Training

* Ability to develop and implement concepts with strong follow-through

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Strong initiative and self-motivated (able to work with minimal supervision) â

* Experience in trouble shooting technical issues

* Ability to read technical specifications and instructions and implement them.

Other Qualifications to include:

* XHTML / CSS

* PHP / MySQL Database knowledge a plus

* Java or ASP .Net knowledge a plus

* Application Framework Development knowledge a plus

* Adobe Photoshop

* Adobe Illustrator

* Dreamweaver

* Flash / Actionscript

* Video Editing / Compression knowledge a plus

Location: Morton, Illinois;

Starting Date: as soon as possible with opportunity to work throughout school year;

Preferred work schedule is at least 15 hours/week, schedule can be flexible.

Salary approximately $8/hour to $10/hour.

This is considered an internship and not a full-time position.
