Junction Ventures is a real estate and venture capital company located in Peoria, Illinois. We are focused on developing companies and properties that will grow Peoria and provide a positive change in the community. Junction Ventures owns the Junction City Shopping Center in north Peoria, and is in the process of developing other retail buildings. In addition to traditional venture capital investments, we sponsor the Project Springboard competition at Bradley University. This business plan competition guides students through the process of developing a solid business plan, and provides funding and support for the most successful team each year.

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our staff full time as a graphic designer and marketing coordinator. Candidate will be responsible for designing print and digital materials to support a range of real estate and venture capital investments. Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines.

This position includes managing the identity of the Junction City Shopping Center, located at Knoxville and Prospect in Peoria. The shopping center is undergoing a major expansion, and we will be developing a new website, signage, a wayfinding system, and printed promotional materials. The position also includes the task of managing the graphics and messages on a soon-to-be-installed large-scale LED sign on Knoxville.

Our office is a very fast-paced environment - we are looking for someone who can work quickly to meet deadlines, while keeping each project on course and managing goals, deadlines, and multiple clients.

Required skills:

* Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite 3 software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)
* Experience with Microsoft Office software suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
* Ability to learn new software quickly
* Comfort with the entire design process, from project definition to design to coordinating printing
* Experience with the Apple Macintosh OSX operating system

Desired Skills:

* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing
* Experience with the Windows XP and/or Windows Vista operating system
* Experience in the fields of advertising and/or marketing
* Knowledge of web design and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Flash, Wordpress, Drupal)
