MM 491: Special Topics in Multimedia

Multimedia 491 is a special topics course that allows the department to offer unique courses on an ad hoc basis that augment the core multimedia curriculum. Past courses have included a variety of subject areas. The cell phone development course allowed students to learn about mobile protocols and design techniques for mobile computing devices. An advanced high definition compositing course allowed students to shoot, edit and composite large scale images using a unique two and half D technique and resulted in a physical installation and associated promotional video for the multimedia department. An advanced development course taught basic development for advance consoles like the WII and iPod touch mobile device.
