Multimedia is often described as a combination of text, audio, and motion. However, Bradley University’s Multimedia program moves beyond this basic definition: instead of a passive viewing experience, students create projects that actively encourage users to interact with the material.
Multimedia is an ever-changing field: everyday technological advancements push the boundaries of what is possible. This shifting atmosphere produces a competitive environment driven by focused, inspired, and self-motivated participants. Bradley University’s Multimedia Department will prepare students to succeed in this difficult field by pushing them to work to the best of their abilities. The small class sizes and close interactions with the faculty help students to build a strong foundation in the many areas of Multimedia.
We want to nurture students' inherent media interests, and combine it with the experience and understanding required to make students' designs and communication ideas strong and effective. The faculty can help guide students by providing a real-world perspective. Students will experience the entire industry process from client proposal and project management through authoring and final production.
