Robert Rowe teaches Art 205 Typographic Design, Art 240 Design History Survey, Multimedia/Art 365 Designing for the World Wide Web, Art 405 Information Design Systems, and Art 406 Graphic Design Portfolio. He served as Interim Chair of the Art Department, 2005-2006.
Recent involvements include art directing five issues of the Chicago Art Deco Society Magazine, creating original typeface design and is currently working with colleagues on a textbook on portfolio design for graphic design and multimedia, due to be published in 2008 by Prentice Hall. He came to Bradley in 2000 with a dual appointment in the Art and Multimedia departments. Prior to that he was professor of design and photography at Marshall Univeristy from 1980-2000. He also was partner and vice president of a design firm for four years in Huntington West Virginia.
He continues to execute design commissions and exhibit art. From 1986-1996, he was the program director for the Influences Design conference at Marshall University.
Robert Rowe has won awards for graphic design, web design and photography. He also designs the Chicago Art Deco Society Magazine.
