Biography

James Ferolo is an interactive artist, commercial creative director, and director for the Multimedia Program at Bradley University. Jim served as Head of Production and Visiting Assistant Professor in the department of Radio TV and Film at Northwestern University before joining the faculty at Bradley University. James is a dedicated eduator with a passion for excellence, pedagogical improvement creating meaningful student experiences appropriate level of instruction within the department through; curriculum revision, engagement with students through collaborative production efforts, increased student job placement, and facilities improvement. Jim is also a working creative professional who has completed many commercial and non-profit film and interactive projects. He is a leader in high definition compositing and interactive design and brings his experience as a creative director to projects on a nationwide basis. His clients have included; Accenture, Caterpillar, Northwestern University, Wellesley University, Franklin Covey, Miller Hieman, AT & T, Indeliq (formerly Accenture’s elearning division), Capital Records, Crane Corporation, The Museum of Broadcast Communications, The Museum of Science and Industry, Pioneer, The French Cultural Services Division of the French Government, The Iona Group, and Midway Airport.

Jim completed his Masters of Fine Arts in the Department of Radio-Television-Film at Northwestern University while focusing on interactive design, compositing and telecommunications theory. He currently teaches senior-level project courses focusing on interactive installations and a time-based arts class for interactive design.
